Some Energy Statistics

I was going through my Business Plan last night, and found some research that I had found late the previous year.

• 49% of home energy use is in Space Heating
• 3% of home energy use is in Space Cooling
• 6% of home electricity usage is in Space Heating
• 6% of home electricity usage is in Space Cooling

This tells me a huge amount of energy is being used in Space Heating and Space Cooling. And this is just in homes, and the data is slightly old

I also found some other research that I had done, and found that there are at least 143,000 school (K-12) classrooms in Australia, assuming an average class size of 25.
