Installation Kits
Below this post you will find a photo of the items that go into one of our products. I have not yet counted the number of parts going into the product, but there are quite a few. The reason for this is that we made a conscious decision when we were working on making the product available – would we make all the ‘add ons’ part of the kit, or would they be optional extras.
What we decided was that the worst thing possible for our clients and the installers would be if they were missing one small part and were unable to continue the installation. They would be forced to come back to finish the install, or not do the install at all. Either way, this would be increased cost. Given that the extras are not that expensive, we figured the extra cost was worth it.
So, what goes into our installation kit?
- Climate One Cloud Based Air Conditioner Controller
- Power Supply – as per local requirements
- External IR Cable
- C-Clip to allow the device to be mounted inside a Plasterboard/Gyprok wall
- Mounting Block for mounting the device on a wall without penetrating the wall
- Plasterboard/Gyprok wall plugs to be used with the mounting block
- Numerous screws
The one thing that we have as yet not included in our Install Kit is wall plugs for concrete walls. We have assumed that installing into a concrete wall will require power tools, and therefore the installer will have a supply of their own wall plugs. Having said that, we are looking at including Wall Plugs in our standard kit
