Bank Account and ABN

Some great news about the business. First bit of good news is that Redshift Wireless has now been issued with an Australian Business Number, or ABN. This means that we are now fully registered with the Tax Office and are ready to go. We had an Australian Company Number, or ACN, when we registered the business, but that does not then get linked to the Australian Tax Office.

The other great bit of news is that the Redshift Wireless bank account is now fully operational. We even have internet and phone banking set up on the account. We applied for the account last week, and after not hearing from the bank since then I rang up to ask on the status only to be informed that everything was ready to go. They reset the login for the Internet Banking and everything was complete.

There are a few other financial things that we need to get set up, but basically this means that we are ready to go!
