PCB Production
I thought that people might enjoy seeing a photo of the manufacture of a batch of PCB’s. These circuit boards are being soldered using solder paste in a frypan. The solder paste is first placed on the PCB and then parts placed on the paste. When the solder heats up it expands horizontally, and then becomes molten, like normal solder. It is sort of half cooking and half electronics. The Toxic comments on the frypan are just so that I don’t use the frypan for cooking.
